Ms. Jessica
Executive Director, Rosa Venerini ECC
Children have always held a special place in my heart. For more than 11 years, I served in several leadership roles across area youth-serving organizations and proudly advocate for educational opportunity for all. I am not that new to Rosa, I was a Rosa parent 10 years ago when my daughter Olivia attended Pre-K here! We both have very fond memories of the experience and developed lasting relationships with other families, former students and teachers. Prior to assuming the lead role at Rosa Venerini, I was the Executive Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Rensselaer County and Director of Program Development & Partnerships at Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology from Spelman College, a Masters of Public Administration from Marist College and earned my certification to teach English as a Second Language from the World Learning School for International Training. I currently live in Niskayuna with my daughter.

Lead Teacher, Toddler 1: "Playful Penguins"
I have been teaching at Rosa Venerini for 11 years. I started in a 3 year old classroom, but have been with the toddlers for the 10 years since. Before working at Rosa Venerini I was a nanny for six years and have worked in other daycare centers since 1998. I hold an associates degree in Early Childhood from SUNY Cobelskill and am CPR/First aid and MAT certified. When I'm not caring for children at Rosa, I enjoy spending time with my two boys and crocheting.
Ms. Nicole
Lead Teacher, Preschool 1: "Blooming Butterflies"
I have an Associates degree in Applied Science in Early Childhood as well as a Bachelors of Science in Childhood Education. I am in my 11th year of teaching, having taught four years in the Universal Prekindergarten program before my current position at Rosa. Currently I am the lead teacher of the integrated three-year old preschool program. I love working at Rosa because of all the wonderful friendships I've made with coworkers and families throughout the years. I live in Schenectady with my husband Michael and my dog Sox. I enjoy camping, going to concerts and going on the lake with our boat.
